Sometimes it’s okay to let go of someone who used to mean the moon and the sun. To let go of
someone who cared so deep, the depths of the oceans could not compare. It is not heartless to do so,
nor uncaring.
All there is, is courage to say.
“I can’t have you in my life anymore because you only give me presents of damage, disappointment,
complications and heartache. And I don’t need that.”
We are all human. Capable and incapable of infinite possibilities. Why can’t letting go be a beautiful
possibility? Trust me when I say that it’s not so beautiful on the other end, but we all need to release
some overdue strains. Shackles and chains that only contain.
It’s better to tell the person rather than to randomly push them away. It’s the bravest act of love.
Letting go is so beautiful. Fading like the tides.
Letting go is beautiful when used right.
It’s power and possibility.
